DHOKLA CAKE


INGREDIENTS


Besan (Gram flour)  - 1/2 bowl
Sooji (Semolina)      - 1/2 bowl
Salt                           - 1/2 tsp
Oil                            - 2 tbsp
Green chilly             - 4/5
Kari leaves              - 10/12
Mustard seeds         - 1 tsp
Curd                        - 1 tsp
Lemon juice            - 2 tsp
Baking powder       - 1 tsp
Sugar                      - 3 tsp


METHOD


1 - Take a bowl add besan, sooji and mix them







2 - After this add salt, curd, lemon juice, some water in the same bowl and make a batter from it




3 - Now take a pan put in water and warm it

4 - Take a bowl and grease it with oil

5 - Now add baking powder in the batter prepared and mix them well after this add the mixed batter in greased bowl


6 - After this put the greased bowl in a pan containing hot water and cover it with a lid and put the pan on high flame for 10 minutes


7 - Ater 10 minute check the batter with a knife and nothing comes on knife then your dhokla is cooked after this rest it for 5 minutes and switch off the stove



8 - Take a pan add oil in and when oil turns hot add mustard seeds and after 1 minute add in green chilly and curry leaves




9 - After this take 1/2 cup water and add 3tsp sugar in it and then boil it


10 - Now take a plate and put dhokla cake in it


11 - After this top the dhokla cake with sugar syrup prepared and then add green chilly, mustard seeds and curry leaves on the top


12- Your DHOKLA CAKE is ready o be served
