SOOJI KI KHANDVI


Sooji ki khandvi is an innovative gujrati dish made from sooji instead of besan which can be served as a starter .

This is a healthy vegetarian dish which can be had by the fitness freaks as well

INGREDIENTS

Butter milk          - 1/2 L
Sooji (Semolina) - 1 bowl
Carrot                  - 1
Raw coconut       - 1/2
Mustard seeds     - 1tsp
Oil                       - 1tsp
Salt                      - 1/2tsp
Green chilly        - 3
Curry leaves       - 10-12



METHOD


1 - Start with mixing Sooji(semolina) and salt in butter milk




2 - Grind carrot and coconut



3 - Now add butter milk, Semolina and salt mixture on stove and keep stirring it till it turns thick
4 -  Greece plate with oil and put thick layer of mixture on it
5 - Now put grinded carrot and coconut on it


6 - When it dries then fold it easily in small pieces and steam it on high flame for 5 minute 
7 - Now take chopped green chillies, curry leaves, grinded coconut and carrot
8 - Take a pan and add oil in it when oil gets hot add in mustard seeds, chopped green chilly, curry leaves and add khandavi in it and start stir it slowly





9 - Your Sooji Ki Khandvi is ready to serve
