PALAK (SPINACH) KOFTA


INGREDIENTS

Palak(Spinach)                              - 1 k.g.
Cabbage                                         - 1 small
Carrot                                            - 2
Cauliflower                                   - 1 small
Shimla mirch ( green bell pepper) - 2
Tomato                                           - 5
Green chilly                                    - 8-10(according to taste)
Ginger                                             - small piece
Besan(gram flour)                           - 1- 1/2 bowel
Oil                                                   - for fry
Salt                                                  - 1 tea spoon(according to taste)

METHOD

1 - Cut and wash palak(spinach) and put it in pressure cooker and give 4 whistles on high flame


2 - When palak(spinach) is boiled let it cool and than grind it


3 - Now take a bowl and add chopped vegetables i.e, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, Shimla mirch (green bell pepper)
4 - Mix chopped vegetable with besan(gram flour) and 2 pinch salt with some drops of water to make a dough, now make small pieces from the dough

5 - Take a frying pan and add in oil after oil gets hot add those pieces made from dough and let it fry till it becomes golden brown.


6 - Now grind tomato, green chilly and ginger together and make a mixture of it


7 - Take a pan, add 1 tea spoon oil when oil gets hot, add mixture of grinded (tomato, chilly and ginger) and 1 tea spoon salt and mix it well after 5 minute put in grind palak (spinach) and mix them


8 - Now add 1-1/2 table spoon besan mixed in water to make a running batter in the same pan and mix it on low flame for 15 minute


9 - After 15 minute put add fried pieces made from mixing vegetables and besan (gram flour) in the pan and mix well

10 - Your palak kofta is ready
