INGREDIENTS
Karela (Bitter gourd) - 250g
Oil - 1 table spoon
Red chilly - 1/2 tea spoon
Salt - 1/2 tea spoon
Turmeric - 1/2 tea spoon
Saunf (fennel) - 1 tea spoon
Mustard seed - 1 pinch
Amchoor powder - 1 pinch
METHOD
1- Cut karela (Bitter gourd) in round pieces
2- Take a pan and add oil in it, when oil gets hot add in 1 pinch of mustard seeds till it pops up
3- After mustard seed pops up, add round pieces of karela (Bitter gourd), 1/2 tea spoon red chilly, 1/2 tea spoon salt, 1/2 tea spoon turmeric, 1/2 tea spoon saunf(fennel) and rest it all for 20 minutes on low flame and keep stirring in between
4- After this take a look at karela (Bitter gourd) and observe wheather it is soft or not
5- If karela (Bitter gourd) is soft then it is ready
6- Now take out karela (Bitter gourd) in a bowl and add a pinch of amchoor powder.
7- Your dish is ready, and can be used as a sider with adding extra flavor to your food
