INGREDIENTS
FOR CHOLE -
Chole (chickpea) - 1/2 k.g.
Tea leaves - 1 tea spoon
Salt - 1.1/2 tea spoon
Black salt - 1/2 tea spoon
Amchoor powder - 1/2 tea spoon
Red chilly - 1/2 tea spoon
Dry coriander - 1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala - 1 pinch
Jeera (cumin) - 1 tea spoon
Hing (Asafoetida) - 1 pinch
Tomato - 5
Green chilly - 5-6
Ginger - a small piece
Oil - 1 table spoon
FOR BHATURE
Maida Flour - 750 g
Suji (Semolina)- 250 g
Baking powder - 1 tea spoon
Salt - 1 tea spoon
Curd - 2 bowl
Oil - for deep fry
METHOD
FOR CHOLE
1 - Wash chole and soak it in water for 5 hours
2 - Take a pressure cooker and add water, soaked chole, 1 tea spoon salt, tea leaves and boil it for 1 hour on low flame
3 - Now take grinder and add tomato, green chilly, ginger and grind them
4 - Take a pan add oil in it and when oil gets hot add jeera, hing , grinded (tomato, chilly and ginger), 1/2 tea spoon black salt, 1/2 tea spoon (salt, amchoor powder, red chilly, dry coriander) and 1 pinch garam masala and mix them on medium flame, when oil seprate masala switch off the stove
5 - Now take pressure cooker in which we boiled chole and add spices mixture (that we prepared on pan) mix them well and give a whistle on high flame
6 - Your chole is ready
FOR BHATURE
1 - Take a bowl and add maida, suji, baking powder, salt, curd, water and mix them to make a dough
2 - Rest dough for 4 hours
3 - After 4 hours your bhatura dough is ready, now make small balls from dough and by using roller make it flat in circular shape chapati
4 - Take a frying pan and add oil in it when oil is hot add chapati we made from dough and deep fry it from both sides till it turns golden brown in color
5- Your bhatura is ready
YOUR CHOLE BHATURE IS READY TO SERVE
