Tikki is a snack originating from the Indian subcontinent; in North Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi preparation, the word "tikki" means a small cutlet or croquette in Hindi and Marathi. It is served hot and warm along with a side of corriande-mint sauce, and sometimes dahi (yogurt) or chick peas.
This dish is a vegetarian dish which is prepared without using onion and garlic.
If you are from one of those who prefer onion and garlic flavor then you can add it , that will be definitely act as a cherry on a cake for your dish
INGRIDIENTS
Bread - 4 slice
Vegetable - according to taste[capcicum,carrot etc.]
Besan - 3 tbs
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly - 1/2 tsp
Eno - 1 pinch
Oil - some
Water - 1/2 glass
METHOD
1 - crush breads
2 - add water ,salt ,and chopped vegetable and mix them
3 - add ENO in mixture
4 - greese bowl with oil
5 - add mixture in greesed bowl and steam 10 minute on high flame
6 - after 10 minute put mixture on plate and add besan , salt , red chilly and mix it
7 - cool mixture and roll it with help of hand
8 - add some oil in hot pan and now add tikki on pan
9 - when tikki turns gold brown from both sides take it out
10 - so your bread tikki is ready and serve it with chutney
