There is no specific occasion to have jalebi but when you have it that moment turns into occasion.
Jalebi is an Indian dessert that every indian love to have, you can even enjoy kesar jalebi with milk that acts as a cherry on top.
Suji (Semolina) - 1 bowl
Wheat flour (Atta) - 1/2 bowl
Curd - 1/2 bowl
Sugar - 1 glass
Water - 1 glass
Eno - 1 pinch
Rose water -1 tsp
Ilaichi powder (cardamom)- 1/2 tsp
Saffron - 7-8
Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
Oil/desi ghee - deep fry
METHOD
1 - Mix suji and curd
2 - Now add in wheat flour, rose water 1/2 tsp, 1 pinch ilaichi powder and water in a bowl and mix them to make a smooth dough and rest it
3 - Take pan add 1 glass water and 1 glass sugar mix it on medium flame
4 - When water and sugar mixture boils then add 1/2 tsp lemon juice, rose water, ilaichi powder (cardamom) and saffron and boil it for 10 minute after that your sugar water is ready
5 - Now take seperate pan and add oil in it
6 - Now add ENO to your dough mix it and now put mixture in a small nib bottle or you can make it with polythene
7 - Now circularly round the mixture in pan containg oil
8- When both sides turn golden brown then takeout the Jalebi and dip it in sugar water for a 1-2 minutes
9 - Your Yummy Atta Suji jalebi is ready to serve
