Stuffed Shimla Mirch or Bharwa Shimla mirch (भरवां शिमला मिर्च) is a dish made from potato's and bell pepper (any color) and this can be served with any of your favourite bread . It is a part of Indian cuisine with a burst of spices and flavours that you will love to have. Here we have served stuffed shimla mirch with a chappati (roti) and boondi raita (which is mixture of yogurt and boondi)
This dish is a vegetarian dish which is prepared without using onion and garlic.
If you are from one of those who prefer onion and garlic flavor then you can add it , that will be definitely act as a cherry on a cake for your dish
INGREDIENTS
Shimla mirch (Green bell pepper) - 9-10
Potato - 4
Red chilly - 1.1/2 tsp
Salt - 1.1/2 tsp
Dry coriander - 1tsp
Amchoor - 1tsp
Garam masala - 1 pinch
Oil - 2 tbsp.
METHOD
1 - boil potato and peel them
2 - wash Shimla mirch ( Green bell pepper) and empty it from inside so that it could be stuffed easily.
3 - mash the potato and mix up all the spices in it.
4 - stuff the mash potatoes inside the Shimla mirch ( Green bell pepper)
5 - take a pan put oil in it when oil hot add stuffed Shimla mirch (Green bell pepper) and let it cook for 20 minutes in low flame.
6 - keep stiring in between
7 -after 20 minutes Shimla mirch ( Green bell pepper) is ready add those extra left mashed potatoes and let it cook for 5 more minutes.
8 - Your Stuff Shimla mirch is ready to serve.
