LAJAWAB STUFFED DUM ALOO


Lajawab stuffed dum aloo is a dish made from potato's and this can be served with any of your favourite bread . It is a part of Indian cuisine with a burst of spices and flavours.

This dish is a vegetarian dish which is prepared without using onion and garlic.

INGREDIENTS

Potato (Aloo)                                         - 6/7 pieces
Peas(matar)                                            - 250 g
Tomato                                                   - 6 pieces
Green chilly                                            - 8/9 pieces
Oil                                                           - deep fry
Curd                                                        - 1 bowl
Salt                                                          - 2 tsp
Red chilly                                                - 1 tsp
Turmeric                                                  - 1/2 tsp
Dry coriander                                           - 1 tsp
Kastoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves) - sprinkle
Cumin (Jeera)                                          - 1 pinch
Garam masala                                          - 1 pinch



METHOD

1 - Start with peeling potato's and cut them in half



2 - Now make hole in potato

3 - After this deep fry those potato's



4 - Boil peas and strain it

5 - when peas are cooled down then add in 1 pinch salt, 1 pinch red chilly and 1 pinch dry coriander and mix them well and crush the peas


6 - Now stuff fried potato with mixture of peas and spices

7 - After this take a bowl and grind green chillies and tomatoes

8 - Now grind remaining peas and left out potato's after making hole


9 - Take a pan and add 1 tsp oil, when oil gets hot add jeera and rest it for 1 minute now put grinded tomato's and green chilly mixture and all spices given in ingredient list after this add curd and keep stirring it, when oil is separated then add in grinded peas and potato and keep stirring








10 - Now add some boiled water in pan and put in stuffed potato and rest it for 10 minute on medium flame


11 - Your lajawab stuffed dum aloo is ready to serve
